Hi! I suspect a faulty fuel filter. The filter may be clogged with dirt and rust causing the car to stall. Once the dirt and rust subsides, there goes the engine running again and when it blocks the fuel line it dies again. Drain the fuel tank and separate dirt and rust and replace the fuel filter. This will solve the issue. Hope this helps and have a good one!

Replace the Fuel Pump. I had the same problem and i did everything you did to find out that it was the fuel pump. I removed the tank and repaced the fuel pump and bingo! No more problems the car runs like new

Fuel pump relay

If this happens every time you start your truck and it shuts off the same each time, you just might have a dirty fuel filter only allowing so much gas pass through until it clogs once again. I once had a chevy van, when I would drive it, would go a few miles and engine would shut down.   I would wait 10 or 15 minutes, it would start up and allow me to drive a few more miles then shut down again.  I changed the fuel filter, It was fine after that.
