GE tv model #27GT271 has only a coaxial connect port (old threaded kind). Magnavox dvd model DP100MW8B has no coaxial connect, only plug in component ports. DVD manual says dvd player must be hooked up to tv. Is there a way to make this work? If so, how? Thanks!!
There are a few options to connect an older t.v. with a DVD player.
Great way to keep an older working t.v. out of the landfill
hope this helps!
What you will need is an RF modulator. They are relatively inexpensive and can be found at local electronic stores. The following link will provide you with a background on the device and how it functions and connects.http://hometheater.about.com/cs/dvdlaserdisc/a/aadvdrfmoda.htm I hope this has been helpful and thank you for using Fix Ya. If you need anymore assistance please let me know.

We just "inherited the same TV (RCA ColorTrax Commercial Skip), and i am trying to connect my kids Wii to the TV, but I cannot figure out if/how to connect components to this TV. Is it possible?? If so, HOW?? Thanks.
I have this problem also.
The RF module looks a lot like the digital converter box I put on my TV. My converter box has AV inputs and I was wondering if I could hook a DVD player to them and make it work. Amy ideas on this ?
