Canon does not show a support page for an ip1300. Here is the download page for the ip1500. Perhaps you made a typo error or the 1500 software will support your machine. If it doesn't work, just uninstall it...no harm done.

Just go to Canon official site,choose your region and nearest location (country). Click Support & Download,Choose the following: Inkjet Printers in product category, Pixma in product series,Pixma ip1300 in product models,Driver & Software in type of documents,Select appropriate driver for OS, and check in the box: I have read and understand the information above, and wish to download the designated software. At last clikc Download.
