I have lost the setup disc for canon I80 printer k10233

I can not set up the printer on a new computor without the setup disc

If you have an old driver installed, remove it from your computer.
Visit a canon site , look for the download tab, enter your printertype and Operating system, look for your driver and download it.
After installation of the new driver : good luck :-)

SOURCE: lost setup disc for Lexmark 2500

no need to buy new one
go to lexmark website
go to drivers download
and type in ur printer model no
select ur operating system and download it free of cost
and ur done

just select first the Operating System you are using, then your ready for downloading it.

Printer wont recognise new cartridge

try to remove the ink cartridge. then turn off the printer with lacking cartridge. Now after 30 seconds turn the printer back on and it will ask you for the lacking cartridge. Now install it.

I think you have to check the settings on your printer, maybe it is set to print color alone, so you need to change it to print both black and color.

you can equally remove the black cartridge ink and clean the surface, maybe it is stock with dirt,

Try this site. You didn't specify what operating system that your new computer is running, however it looks like they have up to Win Vista drivers. Hope this helps.

OK.... The canon print head is a very very delicate thing. The smaller canon printers are often referred to as DIPOSABLE printers.
The head of your printer has RETIRED. It can be replaced but at almost (if not more) the price of a new exact canon printer. Answer therefore is.... A new Printer would be your solution

Manufacturers are usually really good at posting the setup programs for their products on their website. In general, go to the website of the company that made your device and look for "drivers". It may be listed under "Support" or "Downloads".

In this case, you can find the setup program for your printer here: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=331&modelid=8720
Just enter your operating system (most likely Windows XP), and you'll get a download link below. Run that file instead of loading the installation disc, and you should be good.
