Dacor CM24P will not dump coffee?

I have a CM24P-1 that will not dump the coffee cube after brewing? It bassically sits in the brewing cup, and does not get pushed off by the little lever. I have a broken plastic part on the bottom left of the "riser"???I suspect this is why the lever is not engaging to push the coffee off...Do you know what part I need??

I had a similar problem, where the arm does not clear the 'cube'.
The issue ended up being a single screw on the bottom of the inside of the brew unit. It had come undone a bit, and needed to get tightened back down.
Check it.

I have the same problem and a technician came in to look at it today. I need a press assembly unit (I think it runs about $600). He said it could simply be caused by using "sticky" coffee beans. He ran the machine, holding the door closed button with his hand so we could see the machine run it got stuck every time like it was moving through tar- even after cleaning. I'm looking at about $300 of labor and a $600 part. We ought to file class action suit against Dacor. My machine has never worked properly.

WE NEED A PLUNGER O RING FOR THE DACOR CM24P

I picked one at my local hardware store. We have a VERY good store and that has basically everything. Take the part with you to a similar store or a bearing seal place.

Dacor coffee maker

Welcome to the club of unhappy Dacor coffee machine owners. The problem you are having is the problem everyone has had. The only thing I can suggest that has worked most often for me is not leaving the machine on for very long. I think the temperature gets messed up if it is left on too long. I just use mine now for a few cups in the am and then I turn it off. I've been so frustrated with it that I have gone back to my french press. One of the posters on this site actually got Dacor to buy her machine back. I will probably try that route as well. She replaced it with a Meile and is very happy with it. Good luck!

Dacor CM24p

Dacor has a set up on their web site (see link below) that lets you enter your information (eg. postal code) and then looks up the closest repair/ parts places. Note if you want parts check the box that says you're looking for parts.

Repeat error message

I've been through this with my Dacor coffee machine. I believe there is NO fix! Dacor replaced my entire plunger assembly and now it keeps sticking. The too much coffee error has gone but now I'm getting a persistent group error because of it getting stuck. I agree with "lilyfish" I wouldn't have purchased it either and to boot they have stopped making coffee machines!!! I'm looking at a Miele now.
