I had the same problem once. If you soldered a wire to your units wiring harness in order to bypass the nav/video under 15 mph rule then you used too much solder. The solder is on the contacts of the harness. If you didn't, then it's probably the door motor. It would **** if it was the door motor though. That requires you to get it serviced by someone who really knows what they are doing...
I had the same problem. Mine originally stopped at 23/92 files. Then after a cool night, I started it again in the morning and got 91/92 files loaded before it started to fail again. I left the disk in and after about 20 fails in a row, it finally loaded!!! Recommend you just leave it in there and it should work. good luck
you need to go into your audio menu or function menu and turn off ASL. this is a circuit that is meant to adjust the volume for you automatically depending on road noise.
Ummm, its against the law for the driver of a motor vehicle to able to see the screen of a tv or dvd player while the vehicle is in motion! Dummy, watch the road!!!!!!!!
Thats an expensive installation the harness alone is over 120 dollars. You will lose your onstar unless you get a onstar integration module. You will also have to bypass your amp
I installed my pioneer avic z2 DVD/Navi myself and I realized that the wire that connects to the parking break is just a power wire that comes on when u pull the parking break. I think, all you have to do is to connect it to any other power wire that will be constantly provides the on power while driving. I'll try it out tomorrow and let you know!
