Everytime i insert saints row 3 it goes to the small preview of a car and a helicopter. Then it shows the companies who made the game and the copyright. after that it says "the disc is unreadable", but in the bakground i could see the game loading up and working. Ive tried clean my disc with a soft cloth and restartin my xbox, but it still doesnt work. i just got mafia 2, LA Noire, Rage, and Saints row 3 a couple days ago. All of the games worked except for saints row. i never even got to play it yet because its not workin! the disc is in perfect condition and so is my xbox. please help me soon.
Erm this might be a firmware issue i suggest if your still under warrenty contact xbl customer support and they will reflash the firmware on the cd drive

1. Get 3 towels then switch your Xbox 360 on.
2. Wrap the Xbox 360 in the towels [Note - You must cover the WHOLE Xbox otherwise it won't work].
3. Leave your xbox for 25 mins in the towels.
4. When the 25 mins is over take off the towels of and let your Xbox
360 to cool for 20 minutes, enjoy fixed gaming for the next 4-7
days. Once you get a blank screen repeat this process.
[Why Overheat it?]
When overheating it you attempt to solder the dis-connected wires back to the motherboard.
I recommend getting it fixed instead.

The premise is to wrap the towel around the 360 and to let it heat up.
This will weaken solder points and hopefully re-join broken
connections. The problem with this method is that you have no control
over what solder points are weakened and there is no way to prevent
further damages caused by the heat. It is better to send a 360 in for
repair with the three year warranty that MS put on the 360s, because if
you try the towel method and then send it in for repairs, they will
know by the solder points being misshapen and it will void your
warranty forcing you to pay for the repairs.

Well the disc driver obviously works on most of your games except saints row 2. Saints row 2 is in mint condition well i have this problem too with my 360 it reads some games and it doesn't read my other ones well theirs a few ways one is by leaving the game inside of the console and shut it down wait like 5 seconds and turn it back on.
Another is to make sure the laser its self doesn't have dust on it.
And when you put in a disc listen to it as it spins if makes any weird scratching noise its probably the laser hitting the disc a lot of 360s disc have been getting scratched recently due to the fact in microsoft's original design of the disc drive the laser keeps on hitting the disc and scratching it so if thats the case you have to replace the disc drive.
