Question about U.S. Robotics Computers & Internet

Recognition of US robotic modem

I purchsed a US Robitics 56K modem a couple years ago, but had to reformat a new hard drive about 6 months ago. Since then the modem has operated slow and I keep getting error message on shut down re USR exe files. When I download the check your product prgram it indictaes I do not have a USR modem, no not able to update drivers. Any help please?

Go to device manager and check if there are names under the modem and network adapter

I have an e machine & lightning cooked my modem..So i installed a U.S. Robotics 56K V.92 Modem..My Computer worked for a year or so...Now my computer just went off and has nothing..won't turn on at...

If you installed internal modem, try remove it and reboot.

Usr sportster 56k v90 dropped down speed on xp

Sorry but XP is no longer viable...not since last year. And...you are not protected from malware nor will you get any updates. While that may not seem like a big deal today, you're going to encounter big problems in a very short time. Star thinking about getting a new system.

Dear sir,
I have purchase a U.S. Robotics 56K Fax Modem (USB) but when I installed in windows xp after modem driver installation some file could not setup properly then a message shown that continue anyway or cancel option. So that I need a fresh windows xp based U.S. Robotics 56K Fax Modem (USB) driver. My model no. is 5633. Please do something for us.
