Red horizontal convergence PT-47WX49E

Ur tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.The tv colors lines R,G,B mis alignments,have colors shadows or 3D colors pictures.The tv convergencce board the 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead.These parts must be replaced to solved the tv picture convergence problems.The shop,will cost u $300-350 for parts and labors.

if convergence does not adjust in menu mode could be a defective convergenceic or fuse

I just replaced the 2 convergance chips, but it did not seem to fix the problem. I then tested all the resistors that feed the convergence chips anf there was a 2.2 ohm fusable blown. IT was R7050 on mine. That seemed to fix it so that I could adjust all the colors through the convergence 2 screen. There seems to be a slight bow near the bottom when you look at the c2 screen, but not noticable when you are watching a picture. Since I got this broken, I am not sure how perfect it should be.

If Convergence on setup dosen't work, And you think its not STK Convergence chips!, Then "Yes" It more then likely will have a few open Resistors!... (Near STK chips)

Replace both the convergence ICs STK392-110 You can get new Convergence ICs at this link and they provide free installation instructions with pictures so you can do the repair yourself. heres the link.

may not be convergence may be a bad stk for convergence if that style if so try stk
