Water slowly filling cabinet when dishwasher is off.

My Kenmore Ultra Wash fills with water, about a half gallon a day, while off. The dishwasher appears to drain ok when used and there is no water after the cycle is done and the washer appears to drain properly, but when you open the dishwasher the next day, there is water in the bottom.  If I hit the "Cancel/Drain" button the water drains out.  What can be causing this?

Either
leaking valve - to check, turn water off and see if it still happens
or
if appliance is plumbed in to a spigot on the sink trap, then when you empty sink, some of the water finds its way into the dishwasher via the drain hose. to cure, take the drain hose as high as possible under the sink in a swan neck

Middle wash arm and top wash arm not turning. Water comes out of two outside holes on middle wash arm....

Is it filling with enough water? If not sure dump another gallon of water in there once it stopped filling. If still not working I would take the pump apart and check for excessive blockage anywhere or broken chopper. If everything looks good then you probably need a new motor with impeller.

I am trying to clean earthen pottery plates in my dish washer and after washing half of the plates disappear.

The Kenmore PRO also has an Ultra Wash Filtration High Energy Filtration System that helps the majority of us with hard water. It features 2 spray arms, and a Turbozone that blasts away the most gunked up items you can make a mess on.

The Kenmore PRO also features 6 cycles. The High Energy Smart Wash Cycle is the most advanced and versatile. It actually senses the load size, soil amount, toughness of soil and uses minimal water and energy. The Smart Wash Cycle runs from 110 minutes to a max of 194 depending on toughness of soil and uses from 4.2 gallons of water to 6.9.

The Pots Pans Cycle also makes some adjustments depending on soil level and takes from 140 minutes to 203 minutes to complete. It uses 4.8 to 6.9 gallons of water.

There is also a self-adjusting Normal Cycle that runs from 110 minutes to 193 minutes and uses 4.2 gallons to 6.9 gallons of water.

The Kenmore PRO also has a self-adjusting China Gentle Cycle that provides a light wash and gentle dry for delicate items and runs from 105 minutes to 194 minutes and uses 4.2 gallons to 6.9 gallons of water.

It also has a 1 Hour Wash that runs for 58 minutes and uses 8.0 gallons of water and a 15 minute Quick Rinse Cycle that uses 2.1 galllons of water.

The Kenmore PRO also has 5 other options that are additional to the Cycles. Each option adds time and water to the selected cycle. They are:

TurboZone, HI Temp Wash which raises the water temperature to 120 degrees F, a Steam Sanitize which raises the final rinse to 155 degrees F, a Top-Rack Only Option, and a Heated Dry Option.

The Kenmore PRO also has a Delay Option that allows you to run the dishwasher on off-peak hours and delays the start time up to 6 hours.

I have not field-tested all these options yet, becaue I am such a skeptic -- and picky about my dishes, I usually go ahead and always use the TurboZone, the Hi-Temp Wash, the Steam Sanitizer, and the Heated Dry Option. But, hey if you are plunking down $1500 for a dishwasher--you should make use of all your options. I'll keep this review up-to-date as my dates with the Kenmore PRO progress with dinner parties and my very precious china, but for now (mostly because of the "ClangBanger") our good china is safely stored in the cabinets.

Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher

check and see if you are getting ac 110 volts to your water vave when trying to start the unit. if no power check your breakers and /or the incoming power to your dishwasher if they are ok and show 110 voltage coming to the unit then you probably have a control board or touchpad problem which would need a little more detailed check out.
If you do have ac 110 to your water valve then you may just have a bad water valve. Because the washer has to fill first. Hope that helps!!

Kenmore Ultra Wash III Dishwasher will not drain properly

From the sound of things, your dishwasher drains faster than your sink drain ( via the garbage disposal) can drain it off.. You may have a problem with the way your sink drain/trap is vented and there is too much back pressure to drain down quickly.. When you run water from your sink, does it take a long time to drain down or if you fill your sink up and drain it, does it drain slowly ? That may be your problem.. Hope that helps.

WATER FILL LEVEL

Every cycle has its own water measurements for example: Heavy Wash : 7.2 gal. so check the manual for further information. And don?t worry there is an Overfill Protector, so you won?t do any damage. Good luck
