As far as I know there's no device supporting CDMA/GSM yet. Although some GSM phones are tri&quad bands is nothing to do with it. The CDMA is totally different system as GSM. Let say comparing diesel engine with petrol engine.
You can connect internet on PC via your cellphone only if your phone have "EDGE". Just confirm from the manual, and if your phone has "EDGE" then check the installation CD accompanied with the phone. Ask your network provider to send you the settings and once you receive them, you'll be able to connect to internet
