Hoover Nextra 8 dryer making a squealing noise

My nextra 8 hoover tumble dryer makes a squealing noise when on. It seems to be working ok. Can't find the guarnatee so don't want to call hoover out.

Any help appreciated

    my hoover dryer makes a lound noise when on, sounds like its to do with the fan belt but cant find how to get to it

You have to open the dryer and lubricate the rollers, these are the parts that normally make the squealing sounds.

Hoover Maxi 6 TC50 Tumble Dryer making squealing noise
Have you fixed this problem? I also have a Hoover condenser dryer, only a few months old, and has started to make a squeal/whistle. I'm thinking it might be the front fan needing some WD40, OR too much water vapour around the belt that moves the drum causing the sounds.

If it's the fan, lubricating the shaft and its components should fix the problem, if a wet fan then I'd think maybe fully cleaning the condenser filter, reservoir ect will fix the problem.

The problem seems to go away though "mostly" 15 or so minutes after you start the dryer, so that makes me think ones it gets warm something is expanding to allow more "give" so maybe the belt.

There is no heat
Disconnect power and access your dryer fuses. Check and test your fuses for "continuity". Most likely, a white thermal fuse. Can possibly be your ignitor or heat element as well. Is your dryer gas or electric?

Whirlpool Dryer Question - Drum sometimes doesn't spin I have a Whirlpool Dryer model LBG6000KQ1 purchased in 2003. When I turn the timer on, I hear only the gas sound and the drum does not spin. Then I shut off the timer and then turn on the timer again and the gas comes on and the drum spins. The next time I use the dryer, I turn it on the timer and I hear only the gas turn on the the drum won't spin again. I heard a one-time thump sound. I turned off the dryer timer, then turned it on again and it worked fine the gas came on and the drum spinned . Question: What is causing the thump sound and why won't the dryer drum spin ? P.S. I purchased the dryer in 2003 and I changed the drum belt 5 years ago. Thanks for your help and blessings !!!
