    My 160 Transcend store jet 2.5 HDD can not be read. It's LED blinks when inserted into a USB port but i can't get to read it, it doesn't appear in the system tray neither. What can i do? I need help immediately. Is there anything i can do or software i can use to get it back? I have tryid it in a number of different pcs but nothing yet.

Check it on other usb ports, also replace the usb cable

    i already check the cable and try on other usb port but still i cannot detect it on my laptop and i also try to connect it on other laptop and i have same problem

My external hdd transcend 320 gb storejet is very slow while copying file to or from the hd and the blue LED keeps on blinking what might be the problem??
Well u may have it plugged in USB slot but needs to be USB 2.0 .if in regular. USB..will run slow...also external he'd when u not using. It unplug. From USB and AC plug...not good to just let run..they will were out..defrGment hdd to.good luck

I have Problem with the Transcend StoreJet 2.5 120 GB USB 2.0 Hard Drive.
I didnot register it on line.in time i was presented this nice device..
because it was working ok .when i just connect it to LapTop.
NOW..After almost 2 years .it s became not RECOGNISED BY MY pc.
And i cant find any driver for it.I have all my important documents in Transcend.
WHat can i do.friends.. Any help?

Hi.. i need help.. my external hdd transcend store jet 320gb have problem... when I conect HDD to pc blue led blink just one time and hdd stop working..
Check that the USB cable can provide enough power to the hdd. Check that the USB port is powered. Older USB slots may not have enough power to run larger external HDDs, there you may require separate power to be plugged into the hdd. Are you using the original USB cable provided with the external HDD?

Your transcend storejet2.5 is not getting detected
the problem might be that your external hard drives circuit might have burnt,
just open the casing remove the internal hard drive and try connecting to a pc esata connector, if it is being detected you have a good hard drive and data mit have not been lost, just buy a externat casing, esata or ide and put back you hdd.

I have my Transcend Storejet 320GB USB HDD. On my laptop it detect the drive but it not showing any data inside and hang the PC. Is there any utilities to get my data recovery?
In this case you should use data recovery software to try recovering the files and data, provided those lost data are not fully overwrtten.

Be careful: Before your files are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the HDD in case the original files are overwritten.

are you able to see the hd detected in the storage section of the bios setup?

try scanning for new hardware changes in the device manager

else try connecting the hd in some other system and try if it is getting detected in that...
