Question about Panasonic DVD-S29 DVD Player
My Panasonic DVD Player S29 makes a slight electronic "tick, tick" sound during playback of a DVD. This is strange but the best way to describe the sound would be the sound a 'wasp' makes in a nest in your window! LOL The sound comes from the DVD player itself not through the speakers or TV. Its only a slight sound, but enough to be annoying. My DVD player is only 2 days old, brand new. Turn the volume up a notch and it muffles the sound. Please note, its not the sound of the DVD spinning in the player, but a different sound as if the laser was moving back and forth. It does not interfere with the sound or picture quality. It was suggested to try different discs in it as sometimes the disc can cause the sound, eg: cd's, burnt copies etc, but to no avail, the sound was still there. Its only during playback, if you pause it or stop play it stops. Please help, is it faulty or is this slight sound normal? Does anyone one else with this model of player have the same problem? Is it enough to worry about? Thank you.
Tengo el dvd panasonic modelo dvd-s29 que al encenderlo se apaga de inmediato y tiene un cd en el lector y no puede abrirse ¿como puedo repararlo? gracias

I would certainly take the unit back cause that noise could be the tracking or focus coils making that noise as they are being overdriver. This could cause the unit to fail prematurly. Its not an adjustment that you can do your self, it takes special equipment and disc
