My washing machine will not empty the fabric softner from the drawer. I have cleaned the drawer out and removed the blue inner drawer, however it still won't empty. The drawer does not seem blocked in any way, and if i pour water down the hole in the drawer it runs into the machine. Could there be a blockage further down preventing the water comong into the drawer to wash out the softner, if so how do I solve this? Please help!
The detergent dispenser is located above the detergent drawer. A water pipe is connected to it and water enterence and distribution to drawer's cells (following the programmed cycle)are done by a lever's movment (part of the dispenser). The lever movment is controlled by two solenoids that received their power from the timer. By openning upper machine's cover you will have an access to the dispenser. Dissconect the power cable from the machine before moving to next tests !!!! Look first that they are not any disconnected wires. Move manually dispenser's lever and see if water running to all cells (depend on your movment). In case it doesn't work properly remove the unit from the machine and try to clean it (I hope it will help, otherwise you should replace the unit). In case it works properly (manually) - you should test by a multi-tester solenoid's resistance. the one that doesn't have a resistance measurement should be replaced. Good luck !!
