Theres a bad capacitor off the sweep power supply or possibly in the main power supply. Most likly though it would be where i mentioned first. There are no user serviceable parts inside this set Unless your a repair person so best thing for you to do is call in a pro to assist you in this repair. Good Luck

There is a Anynet Setting under the input tab. It has to be on the right setting or the picture Jumps after 20-25 minute. Once I adjusted it to the right setting it stopped jumping and it now works Perfect. Would nt have figured it out if I wouldnt have been messing around with it as a last chance deal.
Is this tv getting free air signal?Have a better antena like a roof antena or digital antena. If it cable, satalite or telicom signals.Turn off the reciever box, than turn it on again for the signal to reboot and update the software to work better.
I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. TV WAS FINE UNTIL A FEW MONTHS AGO. OF COURSE ITS OUT OF WARRANTY. FROM WHAT I HAVE READ, AND BEEN TOLD, IT IS THE POWER SUPPLY TO THE UNIT. IT IS DEFECTIVE, OR IT OVERHEATS AND TRIES TO SHUT DOWN. A LAW SUIT IS IN PROGRESS AGAINST WESTINGHOUSE TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER. KINDA REMINDS ME OF THE XBOX 360'S WHEN THEY CAME OUT. ALL YOU CAN DO IS TAKE IT IN FOR SERVICE. OR, YOU CAN KEEP TURNING IT ON AND OFF, LIKE I DO. I HAVE HAD THIS TV ON ALL NIGHT BEFORE WITH NO PROBLEMS. AS SOON AS I START CHANGING STATIONS, OUT IT GOES. GOOD LUCK. WESTINGHOUSE WILL NOT EVEN EMAIL ME. I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO CONTACT THEM. I HAVE HEARD FROM THE LAW FIRM IN CALIFORNIA THAT IS GOING AFTER THEM. GO ONLINE, AND JOIN THE CRUSADE.
I have a 3 yr old 55 inch mitsubishi TV and when I turn it on the green light starts flashing and I must reset the TV about four times before it finally comes on has anyone had this problem if so what solution did you have?
it needs the hyper module replaced
might as well have em do the stk packs too
its too old to be a lemon
the part that was replaced was not new it was in someone elses tv and had problems there too
the trick is to find someone that will fix it so it lasts
