Use your Virus scanner. These errors (0x00000015)can be triggered by malware hiding inside your computer.please check your computer for malware. try checking it in safe mode and if that fix it, you may want to try system restore.

How to fix application error 0xc0000142?

You have a virus and or malware. The anti-virus program you just downloaded and tried to install has just failed to initialize, which means your viruses and malware have blocked you from using it. You should bring it in to a computer shop that specializes in virus and malware removal for a set cost. They should also be able to set you up with a FREE antivirus and anti-malware solution as well so you aren't caught unprotected next time.

Run DLL Error

Hello fyneken ...

ANALYSIS:

It's all but certain you have a malware "trace" (a remnant/hold-ever) in your Windows registry that's calling for the afforementioned file. When it can't locate it (which is good), your system lets you know this via the error message. By simply getting rid of the trace(s), you get rid of the persistant and annoying error dialogs.

MY QUESTIONS:
  1. Are you certain this is the filename (winnkw32.RON) in your error dialog? It's NOT winnkw32.DLL, etc.?
  2. What software (i.e., AntiVirus, malware scanners, etc.) are you currently using to keep your system malware free?
THE FIX:

(1) Download (2) Install (3) Update (4) then Run:

= Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
= a-squared Free.
Both of these on-demand malware scanners are FREEWARE, and very likely to detect, then successfully delete the malware trace(s). However, if the problem still exists after scanning with both of these, post again, and I'll be happy to walk you thru a manual trace elimiation.

I recommend you keep both of these scanners installed and updated, then run them:
  • routinely (at least every week or so).
  • whenever you suspect you may be infected with malware.
Good luck, and please post back:
  • to provide answers to my questions/updates/clarifications.
  • if you have any further questions, or need additional assistance accomplishing any of the above.
  • to let me know how things work out.
At that time I can provide you with some after-action, wrap-up tips and recommendations.
