SOURCE: i have a compaq presaario

Press F12 right after you turn the computer on, this should give you boot options, select boot from CD, press OK and you may get a prompt displayed to "Press Enter To Boot From CD" You should be good to go from there. I hope this helps. Good luck and have a pleasent day.

SOURCE: hi my original problem of black screen turned out

Well... if your target is the motherboard replacement (and nothing else is going wrong except of your motherboard),
you don't need to reinstall the OS again (op hard disk).... if your new motherboard is axactly the same brand/model as the old one, nothing more you need to do, but only the to replace the old motherboard by the new one!!!

My Asus p8z68 bluetooth is not working,im on windows 7 64bit

easiest fix is to get a bluetooth dongle from some place like amazon new egg or tiger direct. they onle cost about $10 and i got one a while back for $3. other than that I would go to the microsoft knowlege base and see if it is a driver problem and check asus customer support to see if they have an update for the bios, and it could be the boot order is messed up or something else simple but hard to track down.
your first stop should always be with customer support , then go to microsoft to see if they have a fix. sometimes just a hard reboot of your system will get everything back to working right.so that means turning off your computer by holding down the power button till it shuts off, then disconect the power supply and wait about 5 minutes. then restart in safe mode with internet and see if your bluetooth works. second and easiest step is to just go into device manager and uninstall your bluetooth. then restart your computer. when your computer restarts it should find and reinstall the bluetooth.
Some rescent microsoft updates have made the drivers for some asus motherboards not work correctly. and they have update files on the asus site to fix this. I had to uninstall my proset wireless and install a new program from asus to get it working again.
cheers hope this helps.

CPU keeps overhreating.

When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is the problem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are clogged with dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed air to do this.

Speakers won't work on ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 motherboard

Speakers don't require drivers so test them elsewhere, and test your system with headphones to establish you have sound.

Some audio allow for the changing of the ports. Maybe called Smart Jack or Jack Detection. Open Audio Configuration Utility and make sure the green input is still the speaker input.

This MB has this feature with software provided.

Asus p7h55-m black screen when i installed video card.. then i thought my video card is not functioning.. i get it and use on board vga.. its the same problem.. black screen, keyboard no light.. no si

Have you tried removing the new video card? Try that first.
The fact that your keyboard doesn't light most likely means that either your power supply is being pulled down by the video card or is now gone. Was your power supply rated high enough wattage for your computer with the new video card? If the video card was higher-end then it's possible that it killed the supply.
It could also be the motherboard that's gone. Static discharge when putting the video card in, or a bad video card can destroy a motherboard.

Try and fit a discrete sound card and disable the onboard sound in the bios. Sometimes a chip will fail and quite frankly it is cheaper to buy a PCI sound card rather than a new motherboard.

DOES p4pe supports sata dvd writer

The ASUS P4PE-BP does not support SATA drives. See the manual link provided;
http://dlsvr02.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/sock478/p4b-lx/e1155_p4pe-bp.pdf
You'll need Adobe reader installed to view the manual.
If you bought a SATA writer you can still connect it through an IDE to SATA Serial ATA Splitter Power Cable Connector. See the link below.

Videocard not working

Try removing the new card, booting into BIOS, change your video setting the slot of your card: I believe your card is PCI-E, save changes and exit. When it starts to reboot, turn the computer off, install the new card and then try rebooting again. You may also have to boot into Safe Mode\Uninstall the original video driver or disable that video component and then try rebooting your system.
