MFC 210c problem with Magenta ink

The printer was working fine, and then all of a sudden the magenta stopped coming out. I replaced the ink and cleaned it many times, but the magenta is still not coming out.

I have the same problem but with the Yellow - just stopped printing. I have tried cleaning the heads about 20 times now, have switched the cartride and tried cleaning some more - still nothing. I even took a syringe, tried sucking out the old yellow from the printer and instill new yellow ink - still nothing. Help!!

I had a similar problem with my black ink. The printer had indicated that it was out of black ink. I didn't have one on hand, so, for more than a week I couldn't print anything, because if you are out of any one of the four ink cartridges, it won't print at all. That delay in replacing the black ink cartridge apparently was enough time for the printhead to dry out. Big Mistake! I contacted Brother's Tech Support and they suggested I run the cleaning cycle and try to print a test page. Still nothing printed. They had me run another cleaning cycle, and another, and another. Finally, after the fourth cleaning cycle, something started to show up on the paper. They had me clean it two more times, six in all, and it was back to normal. From now on, if it says one of the ink cartridges is empty, I change it yesterday. The major disadvantage of all of this, other than not being able to print for awhile, is that this procedure used up about 1/2 of a brand new black ink cartridge.

I have also problem with the magenta

Check your ink cartridge if they are properly installed.

Check your cartridge if they are empty.

Make sure you are using original cartridge and not just a refill cartridge.

If still nothing happens replace your cartridge.

Wont print with all new ink cartridges

If the error message is only "magenta/cyan low", it doesn't cause any error. The low message stays after replacing ink cartridges if they're replaced too early (before they're indicated as actually empty), it doesn't cause the printer to not work.
However, some other problem might be faulty, or there might be another error message. Try emptying printer queue and print from Ink Management -> Menu/set (twice) to check wether the problem is with communication from pc or if the printer actually is unable to print.

I have error 29 on my 210c

!!!! Magenta ink error !!!!
The ink has run out or the ink cartridge is not set into place.
26: Black ink
27: Yellow ink
28: Cyan ink
29: Magenta ink
1. Reload ink cartridges, referring to the Owner's Manual.
2. Ink cartridge PCB defective Replace the ink refill ASSY.
3. Cannot detect ink cartridges.Main PCB defective Replace the main PCB.
I know your machine was not originally showing signs of main board fault or Ink supply issues, although main board can be killed by incorrect use of maintence mode.

Brother MFC-215C leaking ink

Buy a new printer ....unless it is a dodgy refilled magenta ink that is leaking,  if you are indeed using genuine Brother Inks then it will need a purge unit which is too costly to repair

Empty magent

Magenta is the colour of one of the 4 inks used in your printer. You need a new magenta ink cartridge because it's empty.
