continue downloading your mp3 / mp4 files with limewire (frostwire)..its okay...but limewire will never (and neither will any other non apple software) comply with itunes....so lets import the files (top left hand corner) using itunes (import from the folder you have download to) if its in xyz music that is where we will import from...once you have all the music onto itunes click & hold music library of itunes...(top left is itunes /bottom is your ipod if connected)...drag down to music of ipod let it go...once you do this the conversion takes place depending on how many songs u put in 1 - 3mins tops.............have fun dont forget to share mp3 files on limewire/frostwire
You can't use Limewire directly to transfer songs to the Nextar. You will need to transfer the songs to the Nextar using Windows Media Player. Limewire puts the songs in a folder called "Limewire Downloads" usually. You will need to open Windows Media Player, run the mouse over the "Library" tab, and select "Add to Library." Once the window pops up you will need to add the folder called "Limewire Downloads" - it may take several minutes, but Windows Media Player is going to add all of those Limewire downloads to its own library. Then, you can use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs to the Nextar.
You will not need to download anything to Transfer Mp3s from Limewire to this Player. The songs you downloaded from Limewire should be in a folder somewhere. When you set up Limewire you created this folder or used the default folder they provided. Just connect your Mp3 player to your computer. Your computer should recognize it as a drive and Appear in "My Computer". Double click on the Mp3 player icon in My Computer. This will open up the player. Then with the player and the Limewire folder open just drag the Mp3s onto your Player. You can also use this little player as a USB storage device to store other files. If this did not help you please post a follow up comment and I am sure I can help you.
Get Limewire - make sure your anti-virus software is up-to-date.
When you find songs on Limewire, notice that not every song they have is in Mp3 format - only download the songs that are in mp3 format.
Caution: Some ISP's will suspend your service if you use Limewire.
Other options are Frostwire (make sure your anti-virus software is strong) and Morpheus.
Once the songs are downloaded, go into Windows Media Player --> run the mouse over the Library tab --> a little black arrow will appear underneath the Library tab, click on it --> click on the "Add to Library" option and add your "Limewire Downloads" folder to the list of folders that Windows Media Player searches - it will add all of the songs from that folder to Windows Media Player.
Then use the Sync tab to transfer songs from your computer to your Sansa Clip.
I would highly NOT reccomend the free route, but there it is.
When you plug the camera in to the computer a screen will appear ckick it...nuw you will see another window open that has camera...music....ect.....click the music folder and you will get a blank screen.....now open your selected music files in another window....now drag selected music from selected files over to the gpx device blank window songs will now transfer over to the camera...also if you have limewire go to libary music then click explore button and you can drag from there ...camera will flash led red green wile downloading ...unplug wien done
This should fix ya!
Use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs downloaded from Limewire to your Sansa. The first time you open Windows Media Player, it will search the "My Music" folder for songs - this may take a few minutes. Mkae sure you have Windows Media Player 10 or 11. You can either move or copy the Limewire songs to the folder called "My Music," or go into Windows Media Player and change Windows Media Player's configuration so that it can read the Limewire downloads folder.
Go the options menu in windows media player, click on the library tab, click the monitor folders button, add your limewire download folder to the list of monitored folders. Once that is done, any songs added to the Limewire fodler will appear in your library.
You have to sync it, I know i had the same problem!
When you conect it, you should have a screen saying what action to take go to sync.
You have to put your songs in there then sync
The Limewire music is located in your My Computer> C:>Documents & Settings Folder>Administrators Documents (your name)>Shared Folder.
You can manually drag these files from this folder onto your device, located under My Computer>Device Name (there may or may not be a music folder, you should put it in there if there is).
Once you drag & drop the files, you should safely disconnect your device, then you are done.
Best of Luck.
