Question about Kodak EasyShare C633 Digital Camera

The lcd is cracked.need to know where to get it fixed.it is on the inside.it looks black and white and cracked

    the screen is not broken although it is black and white on the inside and i dont know how it happened help me on what to do

    the lcd is trashed. no reason, and not mistreated or anything. it looks horrible and you can not use it.

    no abuse, no accident, LCD screen was white with slight suggestion of some information just barely visible, camera takes pics but cannot be seen on LCD, when gently pressing on LCD it displays black smears which go partially away, but now I have a black blob.



    The first sign of a problem was a image of what appeared to be a slight crack in the lower right corner - but it was not a crack.

My screen is not "cracked" although it does look like its cracked in lower right corner. It's black on that side about 1/2" from edge althe way to the top an the other side is very shaded. This makes seeing the picture impossible to see with any clarity.

Lg reset
Sounds like the LCD digitizer which either broke inside OR became disconnected. If the impact was not enough to sustain a screen crack, and you have warranty with either LG or through your carrier, you can get LG to fix it free if there is no physical damage, cracked screen, or water damage, with your carrier, it would be the easy, just tell them the screen isn't broken, the phone is intact but the screen is blank. That is a hardware failure... they are supposed to be able to withstand some drops so it really depends on how much physical damage there is.

A digitizer LCD is not expensive and there are ways to change them fairly simple since the screen isn't cracked, you go through most LG phones via the back, remove the camera, remove a black cover that holds the sim and or memory card, BE CAREFUL and please look at youtube to see a complete disassembly of your particular LG phone.

The liquid crystal of the LCD is probably oozing inside the calculator.
I don't believe it is worth fixing. It will probably cost a lot more than buying one of the newer Casios, TIs or Sharps.

you can find replacement panels but expect to pay $250 plus for one. You will need to take the back cover off the set and get the panel model # off the back of the panel. There should be a white sticker on the back of the panel stating the model #. You will need to get a replacement panel that matches your model # EXACTLY

Internally cracked LCD display
If the screen is cracked, it will branch out like a spider's web with black margins showing. The whole LCD display will need to be replaced, go to www.ebay.com Type make and model of laptop, refine search to screen and check price listings.

LG 42" tv LCD pannels inside tv have a cracked
The set needs a new LCD if it looks cracked and swirly, the colors all run together in the area of the crack don't they! If it is cracked it can't be fixed. you can replace the lcd but I am not sure if a warranty will cover a cracked screen or not. You will need to contact LG and be very nice to them and see if they will honer the warranty on this.

Cracked screen on 32 bravia. can it be fixed
If just the plastic screen is cracked, and it hasn't affected any of the LCD screen underneath, you could take a stab at removing it.

I would not recommend it, though. In order to access that panel, you have to remove the back, remove the boards and free up the panel. As it is, the LCD panel is one sealed piece, and getting at that sheet of plastic would be nightmarish.

Now, if by cracked you mean that you have cracked areas of the screen, showers of pixels, whole swaths of black and white and other colors. You know, that kind of beautiful sparkle that can only be made by the flying WiiMote, then you need to replace the LCD panel. And for your 32"--given the cost of replacement--the repair would not be worth the expense.

My lg voyager got ran over and you can barely see either screen
Assuming everything else still works, you can buy a replacement LCD screen on eBay for around $50 and install it yourself. The LCD screen comes with the front and inside screen.

The inside of the display panel is broken.

The cost of the replacement display would probably exceed the cost of a new set!

LCD Screen "cracked"
I have the same problem right now. It was fine last night, and when I woke up it was cracked, now it looks like a black sunset. I've only had it for 5 months and I need to get it fixed, but I have no idea where to take it. I bought it from best buy, but I didn't buy the warranty or anything, will they still fix it? I'll pay.
