Display screen went white..

Your screen is not connected inside your camera it is easy to reconnect as there is a cellophane tab carrying copper connectors that are held in with a plastic clip which has probably unclipped itselfyou need a watch makers screwdriver (small possidriver a eye glass and a pair of small strong tweezers) work on a clean table so if you drop the small screws they can be easily found 6small screws in allI replaced my own screenthat I got fromASAHI PHOTO LTD MDDX on ebaycost was £39 .95 and a genuine replacement screen a doddle to do as it requires no soldering just a bit fiddly hope this helps

If the screen becomes damaged, it can turn all white. The white is the backlight, and if the screen is dead, you will see all white. This is not the ONLY cause, but it is one of the most common. If you are vary handy, and good with very small parts, then you can buy a screen on ebay for about $20-25 and fix it yourself.
