  • 1st You download Webcam Driver.
  • Logitech Webcam Installer
  • After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
  • Installation of Webcam Driver
  • Go to the control panel
  • Click on the System Icon
  • Click on the Hardware Tab
  • Click on the Device Manager s
  • Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
  • Right click on it and uninstall it.
  • After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
  • Driver installation Wizard start.
  • Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
  • Driver will be install.

SOURCE: need logitech camera software to install

You don't need the driver CD. When I installed mine, I was given an option to either install the driver from a CD or from the internet and I clicked the interner button. It works great except that when I play a video back, I get random distortion. The instructions also ask you to unplug the cam to complete installation. When you do this, make sure it gets plugged back in to the same USB port or it will not connect.
