Try this, with power off press spin for five seconds on and five seconds off until 88 appears in the display. After this either it will start with a c1 or it will flash an error code, write down the code and within five seconds press spin again to advance so auto diagnostics will start, if your display is bad F 2 will pop up quickly. b. For all other models with the beeper function:

There should be a switch on the control panel that sets the volume or a 'setup' feature in an electronic control panel. The manual should show how to do this.
When the Cycle Signal Control is ON (turn off) a signal will sound at the end of each cycle and during the Press Saver setting (some models). The volume is adjustable on some models.
This is a common and very well known problem with the Oasis. You will need to replace the operator interface board inside the control panel to resolve this issue. The board is located directly behind the control knob. If you post back with your model number, I can research a part number for you, give you info on where you can order a replacement, and give you guidance on how to replace the board yourself.
