No Cold Water

My GE Profile Washer is only working with hot water. I checked the cold water valve and the water is working fine. I took off the cold water hose and checked to make sure it was not clogged . Then I cleaned out the filter on the input on the back of the washer (where the hose connects). The cold water is now trickling in at first but then stops completely. Any suggestions or idea of what to try next? Thanks

THE SOLENOID VAVLE IS DEFECTIVE,NEED TO REPLACE IT, ITS WERE THE HOT AND COLD HOSES CONNECT TO BEHIND THE WASHER WERE YOU CLEANED THE SCREEN. NEED TO TAKE IT OUT AND REPLACE. ITS A ONE PIECE IT SHOULD BE RED OR BLUE OR SUMTHIN LIKE THAT.

GET THE MODEL NO AND SERIAL NO AND SOURCE AROUND FOR A REPLACEMENT PART. ALWAYS GO WITH THE ORIGINAL PARTS SO IT WOULD LAST LONGER, THEN TO MODIFY AND COST YOU MORE MONEY, WHEN IT SHOULDNT.

GE Water Cooler Cold Water does not come out, Why?

It works like a fridge or ac. When its charge gets low it can't cool. It will cycle on and off as freon goes around the circuit. Must be leaking around seals or crack in line. A good ac man could check its pressure to determine. Also, thermostat could be going bad, I would check that as well.

GE WPSR3100W0AA Does not run on Hot-Cold temperature mode, only on cold- cold or warm-cold. Hot water hose and faucet are ok and ON.

you can switch the hoses to verify that the temp selector is working if you have the cold water supplied to the hot side and run the machine on hot-cold side and nothing comes out then replace the water inlet valves.

Washer Fills HOT WATER ONLY

If you checked the screens at the water inlet valve and they were not clogged, then you probably have a defective water inlet valve and will have to replace it. Hope this helped.

Washer is most likely trying to fill with cold rinse water and the inlet screen is blocked or the cold water solenoid is bad. If you set washer to wash cold only it will not fill or fill very slowly. When you set it to warm or hot you are getting almost all hot. Clean inlet screen or replace inlet water valve.

GE Washing Machine

Sounds like you have a bad fill valve on the cold water side. If your hoses are not clogged, then remove the hose and check the cold water inlet going into the machine for clogs. There is a screen that can trap mineral deposits and/or rust. If you have well water or hard water, they can become clogged easily. Sometimes you can clean them out and they will work just fine. Most of the time, however, you will need to replace the fill valve. Make sure you unplug the machine and turn the water off. The valves are electronically controlled. I hope this helps.
