Just about any photo editing program should let you crop and resize your pictures. Try iPhoto if you're on a Mac or Windows Photo Gallery if you're on Windows.
You can also try Picasa and the GIMP.

Downloaded pictures from my iPhone to my computer are in an oversized format that must be resized to be viewed, then saved. What is wrong?

Photos taken in very high resolution are very large physically. Thus, when viewing them, especially with a default photo viewer, they are often too large and must be resized to view. If you check the viewer settings, there may be an option for "shrink to fit" and "enlarge to fit" that allows smaller and larger pictures to be viewed full screen without manually resizing and resaving each one. If the viewer you have doesn't have this feature, search sites like DOWNLOAD.COM to find one that does. There are many out there and many of them are free.

When i download my pictures to my computer, the picture size is to large to email in bulk

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
You have to resize the picture to some smaller resolution. you can download free softwares like PICASA for it, or you can do it online here You can change it to 800x600 resolution.

I just purchased a F4580 printer and I am scanning pictures in. Is there a way to resize the pictures after they have been saved on my computer?

Check for a program on your computer that will allow you to edit pictures, you can usually change colors and also change the picture size. If you can't find one then download Photoscape, its a free program and it will allow you to resize photos amongst other things. Here is the link:

http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/download.php

Just choose one of the links and download the program so you can install it.

On a newpaper ad, I try to upload a picture of a model, and the proof shows the head & feet cut off. How do I adjust the photo so it fits nicely in the ad?

If you have Adobe Photoshop, use it to "clip" and "resize" the picture.
If you want free software to "clip" and "resize" images, see http://www.GIMP.org ("The Graphic Image Manipulation Program"). Download and install The Gimp -- it's _free_ software.

Ok go here and get "Image Resizer" it's free and just works. Download and install. It adds a "Right Click" context menu, you choose the Picture, & right click on it, and select Image resizer and ..well resize.

To change an images size is very simple. Just follow the steps below:

Find your image on your computer and right click with your mouse.
From the list that opens choose "open with" and then choose "Paint".
Once paint opens click save as.
Then choose a different filename (if your original was Picture1, then save it as Picture1small).
Click to save and upload Picture1small on facebook.

Philips digital photo frame 7FFI series

Here`s a tip i found for you...

1. Connect the frame to your PC using the supplied USB connector. Navigate to the \DCIM\100Frame directory and delete all the Phillips advertising pictures there.

2. Create a directory on your PC and put copies of all the pictures you want to display there.

3. Download the free picture resizer utility from Microsoft at:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
(Look for Image Resizer in the right column). After installing it, "Select All" pictures in the directory you created, then right click and select "Resize Pictures" from the context menu. Choose the 640x400 radio button. Sort by size and copy all the small ones into the "\DCIM\100Frame" directory on the frame drive (Called Removable Disk on my PC).
