How to replace the Assembly
The gear tips are not available from the manufacturer. You will have to replace the whole assembly. Your other option is to but a used model of the same type off of ebay and take the gear stems off of it.
I have a smart touch xl hq9190 shaver, its gear is broken, can I buy Norelco 8100 series gear and use it for my shaver, is it work? If not, what kind of gear I shoud buy for my shaver?

The plastic stem that turns one of the blades Broke. I need information on how to replace the stem ,But the only information I can find says the Motor Drive/Gear assembly has to be replaced. I looked at the stem with an Eye Loupe and it looks like the stem is replaceable. There appears to be a joint with a pin joining the upper and lower portion of the spindle and stem, If no one can verify that there is a joint and a replaceable stem ,Then I would like to get instructions on how to switch out the Motor/drive gear assembly
