Hello there and welcome to fixya
This is a fairly common issue with these
These cooktops have a internal memory built into them and if they get locked they need to be reset
SO what you will need to do is to unplug the power to the cooktop and leave it sit for 1 hr and do not touch ok then after the hour is up tunr on the power to the cooktop you may hear a audiable beep sound or a click sound this is normal now press the cancel button and you should be all right from here but if not please post me back a comment and tell me what is going on and i will give you further troubleshooting steps ok ?
Best regards Mike

How do I unlock my Dacor cooktop

When your Dacor cooktop is locked, there will be a red light lit above the Dacor emblem located under your cooktop controls.

If you see this light, pressing the Dacor emblem for three seconds will turn it off and unlock your range. Pressing it again for three seconds will again lock your range and turn the light back on.

Another fun thing about that Dacor emblem is that if one or more of your elements are lit, tapping it twice in quick succession will turn off all elements.

The control knob for one of the buners on the left side won't turn and the other left side buner is very hard to turn. this has been the same since it was installed,

If the problem started since it was installed then it can be that its either a manufacturing defect or the installation is not correctly done. You can also try to blow air on the knobs to check if dirt is stopping it from working....Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

We have a whirlpool gas cooktop, Model SC8720EDB, Serial FMG1005626. When the left two side burners are lit, either one or both, the suction fan automatically cuts on. When the right side burners are...

It does this by design. It is a safety feature on this model because it was designed to have a gill module on the left side. I don't know if you can change it without replacing the two left control valves with valves like it has on the right burners.

Can't turn on KECC508 cooktop I didn't buy it and it is in the house and the light in the middle to power all burners off is lit.

The middle light is the lock. You must hold it down for at least 7 seconds to unlock it, then the middle light will go off. Your hands can't be wet, or none of the buttons on mine work right.

Whirlpool electric Cooktop's one burner not heating

Initially, it could either be:
  • open heating element (most likely);
  • open temperature limiter (least likely);
  • faulty/loose connection/wiring (a possibility).
Please confirm that it is a Whirlpool RCC3024 Electric Cooktop.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
