SOURCE: New Printer - Issue with installing printhead

first of all.. make sure that you remove the packing material from the cart or print heads and put them in properly.
then also if it it gives the same probem then try it with the old print heads.. if it doesnt gives any eror with the old ones then replace the new ones..
new ones are bad..
return them to store

this error means the printer has lost communication with the scanner. lexmark says some surge protectors can cause this error also static discharge near the printer if you cannot clear this error by powering the machine off with it plugged into a grounded wall socket return it to where you bought it as an out of box failure

Sorry to tell you but OX___... messages means "failed printhead or ink system"
You should try to change the printhead because an error occured and the printhead it's no longer working

Printhead error

A firmware update for your model addresses the "printhead error" on your printer. First, get rid of error message on the display screen to successfully update your printer firmware.Open the cover to remove the printhead and tanks (if installed). Note: Carrier will come to the center automatically with this error message as the cover is opened.
Then proceed with the firmware update. Please visit the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/s405fw to download and install the firmware update.

Error code U052; keeps saying incorrect printhead installed - the printhead has never been changed

Per Canon's website, and this just worked for my mp620:
Turn the printer on.
Open the cover.
Remove the ink cartridges.
Remove the printhead.
Re-install the above (this resets the printhead).
Close the cover.
Printer should initialize and go to home menu screen.

Printer wont copy error code 3802

Hi,error 3802 Means Printhead Failure

All You need to do is turn the printer Off and On

And if the problem still there

Remove the ink cartridges and the printhead

And if the problem still there
Do it again for (5x)

And if the problem still there,
i will suggest you contact their customer care for further assistance.

I have three HP L7780 printers that have bad print heads black/yellow. replaced but same problem. ?????

take out printheads. unplugg power cable from back press adn hold down 6 and # buttons on pritner at same time while holding them down plugg it back in. then insert printheads one by one. first insert black/yellow shutt the door adn check for message on pritner screen. if it says printhead missing cyan/megenta it means it detected black/yellow printhead. do same with cyan/megenta adn check for message on screen. if you see no error mesage and both printheads were detected fine let the printheads alligned completely. then if u see same issue it is the pritner whgich need to be replaced.

I have a kodak 5500 aio printer. I replaced the

Try the following:

1. Open the printer access door.
2. Put out both ink cartridges and the printhead.
3. Let the printer access door open.
4. Put out all paper.
5. Pull out the ac adapter at the back of the printer.
6. Wait 60 sec.
7. Pull in AC adapter.
8. Wait 30 sec. then turn on the printer
9: Wait for the error message: Printer access door open.
10. Close the printer access door.
11. Wait for the error message: Printhead is missing.
12. Open the access door and put in only the printhead and the close the access door.
13. Wait for the error message: both ink cartridges are missing.
14. Open access door, put in only the black ink cartridge, then close the acess door.
15. Wait for the error message: Color ink cartridge is missing.
16. Open access door, put in the color ink cartridge and then close the access door.

If the error is solved, do a firmwareupdate right now.

Well, here is the proper way of fixing or troubleshooting that paper jam error in your printer

Open the printer access door and remove both of the ink cartridge, then remove also the printhead, after that close the printer access door, without those parts. Then it will show a message in the printer screen, "Printhead is missing or has come loose" or "Printhead Not Detected" Install the printhead, just the printhead without the ink cartridges. After that close the printer access door. Then it will show you a message"Ink cartridges is not installed,install ink cartridges". then open again the printer access door, then install the black ink cartridge without the color ink cartridge. then close the printer access door, then message must be " Color ink cartridge is not installed, install color ink cartridge" then install the color ink cartridge." the message must be,"New printhead is detected calibration require, load paper and press start"

Thats the way of overiding the paper jam error message of your kodak all in one printer

Machine does not copy

LSU Error occurs when your printer printhead is damaged. Change your printer printhead, the printer will be ok.
