Hi there,
I'm trying to repair my Logik LOG32LW782 lcd tv. The fault is a set of numerous vertical coloured lines running from the top of the screen to the bottom with an overall width of about 5 inches. The affected section is on the very right side of the screen, and the rest is completely fine and shows a good picture from all inputs.
Can anyone help in suggesting what the cause might be? I've had a bit of experience before in changing inverter boards, but not seen this before. I'm trying to diagnose the cause before I resort to taking it in for repair.
So if anyone can suggest what might be causing it, and/or what part might need replacing or looking at, I'd be very grateful!!
Thanks very much!

Hi there,
Thanks for the answer. If the driver is having a problem, is there any way of fixing that rathger than replacing the screen? Surely the actual screen is in working order as it's showing light? I've taken tv's apart before, so do you know what part I'd be looking to replace, or what I'd be looking for?
Also, is there any way of finding out how to restore the tv to it's factory defaults? I've not got a manual and can't find anything on the internet...do you know if there's a sequence of buttons that can acheive it at all?
Thanks very much,
Dan

i have just fixed this problem on a friends tv you will need to change the 4 1000uf capacitors on psu board then clean connectors on or replace the timing control board located behind the metal chassis the psu board is attached to hope this helps
