SOURCE: GRACO STROLLER FRONT WHEEL BROKEN

I have the same problem, the airline broke ours the last time we flew. I just found on Graco's website that you can order replacement parts. Here is the link, http://www.gracobaby.com/store/order/default.asp?N=10418+10413+10421&Ne=11
You'll need the model number and serial number. I found ours on a sticker under the footrest. For our stroller it's $19 plus shipping for the front wheel assembly.
Hope this helps.

You need to regularly lubricate the wheels...Just get some WD-40 with the little straw attachment & spray into where the wheel meets the frame...Make sure you lubricate the wheels regularly...I had the same problem & call Peg toll free - that was the answer & it fixed my problem too!!

SOURCE: problem with front wheel of jane 3-wheeler stroller

The front wheel swivel has become a problem with some strollers that are a little longer than the standard three wheel stroller. This has been happening with the new Phil & Ted's Vibe as well.

This can be approached in a few different ways. The easiest is to take the wheel off completely and properly lube the connection pieces. You can use a standard axle grease, or WD40 if you have some in your home. When the tire is properly lubed, re-attach it. This should take care of the problem.

If that does not work, the wheel's inner tube might be/have been over-inflated. When this occurrs, a part of the tube bubbles and causes the wheel to wobble while being pushed. Deflate the tire slightly and see if this helps. If the tube has been over-inflated for some time, it may be necessairy to completely replace the tube - you can do this at most bike shops that sell replacement tubes.

If this does not stop the tire from wobbling, please feel free to contact us anytime.

When in 'swivel' mode front wheel turns wildly making it difficult to control and even stops the buggy when the wheel 'stick' at right angles to the buggy

In normal use, the front wheel needs to swivel freely - then this stroller's drive is easy and manageable with one hand (we know from extensive use with 2 kids and shopping on board).

The front wheel normally can not collide with the car. If the wheel assembly / lock is not correctly inserted, it can lock / unlock uncontrolled: try to disengage and mount the front wheel unit again.

Unsufficient tire pressure can also detoriate the drive.

Front wheels not good for uneven ground

I have trouble with this stroller when pushing it over uneven territory like grass or a gravel path. What I have found helps is to lock the front wheels in place (the back wheels would normally already be locked) while pushing it on the uneven ground. You have to steer just by pushing it but it makes the overall pushing easier. When I am on even ground, like a sidewalk or at the mall, I keep the front wheels unlocked.

You have put the front wheels on backwards. I did the same thing with my stroller. Just take them off and put them on again, making sure the square on the red tab lines up with the notch on the black part of the stroller frame. You may need to flip the red tab up to do this. The wheels should be under the stroller, not in front of it, when assembled. Hope that helps.

On the front wheels there should be a plastic clip, either in between the double wheels or just above, all you need to do is flick this clip up to unlock the wheels and to lock them flick the clip back down,

How do i unlock the front swivel wheels on my Chicco stroller??

OK I solved it myself! I took a hammer to those front tabs and,low and behold, they did push down to unlock the wheels. A little muscle was all it took. Thanks anyway....

Safe tech tripple stroller

On my stroller there is a little plastic piece just above the front wheels.  If you push it to the left it will lock the wheels.  Push it back to the right to unlock the wheels.  You may have to push a little hard to move it.
