Turn on / off Airplane mode

Airplane mode turns off the wireless radio. This allows you to use programs while travelling on an airplane, but not make or receive calls.
To turn on airplane mode, follow these steps:

1. From the Home screen, select Go to.
2. Scroll to and select Profiles.
3. Scroll to and select Flight.
4. Select Activate.

To turn off airplane mode, follow these steps:

1. From the Home screen, select Go to.
2. Scroll to and select Profiles.
3. Scroll to and select Normal (or a profile other than Flight.)
4. Select Activate.

Change your OS windows to windows 7

1. Press and Hold the Power button for 2 Seconds. A menu pops up. On that list, you will see "Airplane Mode" (under which should state "Airplane mode is ON").
2. Now tap "Airplane Mode" to switch it Off. If you press the power button again after a few seconds, it should now say "Airplane Mode is OFF". This is how you want to leave it. Done.

When you go to settings -> wireless and network there is an option to turn flight mode / airplane mode of and on.

Did you fix the problem? I can't turn flight mode off either

If you want to try a simple solution, Go to Settings, Wireless and Networks, then Turn on "Airplane Mode" wait until you see an airplane on the top status bar of your phone... then Turn OFF "Airplane mode"
If that doesn't work, and you want to reset your phone, take it to the place you bought it or any place that is on your carrier.

To use the Lock key to turn off Airplane mode, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, press and hold the Power/Lock key on the right side of your phone.
2. At Airplane mode, tap On or Off.

To turn the Airplane mode on or off using the Settings menu, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Wireless controls.
4. Tap Airplane mode to turn on or off.

you have gone through the following?

settings > wireless controls > airplane mode

if this doesn't work, try this:

hold the red end call button until the phone options menu appears. try turning off airplane mode.

if this doesn't work, try this:

add the airplane mode widget on your screen by pressing + > htc widget > setttings > airplane mode. try turning it on and off with that.

if not, then i have no other suggestions for you other than take it into a store to get it looked at.
