C runtime error Program...\es\Roxio Creator 2009\Roxio Central 4\RoxioCentralFX.exe R6025 -Pure Virtual Function Call

The R6025 Runtime Error happen when an application indirectly calls on a pure virtual member function from an invalid Microsoft Visual C++ run time library.

Why is this happening This issue can occur as a result of uninstalling the Google Desktop installed by Quickbooks on a computer running Microsoft Windows Vista. Launching QuickBooks after uninstalling Google will cause the error message.




Note: This issue is also known to occur with computers that have been upgraded from Windows XP to Windows Vista, where Google Desktop was uninstalled under Windows XP. Both cases would yield the same error message.

If you are running any version of Windows, it's an easy fix, don't worry-

1. Delete your desktop icon
2. Using Windows Explorer, go to your C:\Program Files\Roxio folder
3. Open the Roxio folder, and find the Creator.exe file
4. Right click on the .exe file, 'create shortcut'
5. Cut and paste the shortcut you just made onto your desktop.
6. Try it to make sure it functions correctly.

mine did the same thing, i called dell , they could not fix 7 techs tried and failed. so i went to http://support.roxio.com and download creator 2009 service pack 4 (52.5mb) u have to register it first, then download . follow the instructions . mine works now.

Check the activePython web site for an update, or, since you are using 2.6, you might want to consider a version upgrade to 3.0. Version 2.6 made a lot of huge leaps and has many issues that 3.0 fixes.
