You hit a serious code, noting can be done, this code requires a tech to come out and remove a chip inside the machine, which is then sent to Konica Minolta, then on to the US SECRET SERVICE since someone attempted to counter fit US currency!!!!!!!!!!!, until the US Secret Service determines what was done the machine stays inoperative , once what happen is determined tech will come out reinstall the chip reload firmware, and .NEVER EVER PLACE ANY CURRENCY ON A COPIER all the machine now a day have Bank Note chips.

at this point the screen should change. If not hit reset button and try again.

Turn power off and back on. (black switch on the right lower side of copier)
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO ANYTHING ELSE IN SERVICE MODE! YOU CAN REALLY MESS UP YOUR COPIER BEYOND REPAIR IF YOU DO!!!!!

This is going to be a two step process:

With the machine on go to service mode. Select System 1, Problem Unit Isolation, Find ADF, Select Unset, (This next step ensure you wait ten 10 seconds between) Power off the machine, 10 seconds later turn it on.

Once ready to copy. Conduct the same procedure again this time select ADF select SET this time. Power off a ten seconds later Power on. If the problem keeps coming back have a tech come out.

first balance the pH and then test other chemicals BALANCE pH FIRST. and rum pump continuously for a few days. and then about 8 hrs a day.

open the machine and lift the red fuser cover and check the exit sensor make sure that that the flag moves easly then makr sure the registration sensor flag moves easy as well the sensor is located at the black roller in the bottom of the machine there is a cutout in the plate you should be able to see the flag if not it is stuck in the open position the figure 8 is a paper jam error

This is for a Mita 1560 Photocopier (analog)
J50 was caused by exit sensor not sitting correctly in its bracket,I fixed this by pushing it until it
clicked back in.
The dark lines & double imaging can be caused light getting onto the drum ,or if the drum gets
cold (so I have been advised) which one it was for sure I will never know because when I
returned the next day & fixed the exit sensor the copy was OK.

does the line only show up when making copies from the adf or both when you put it on the glass. if only when thru the adf the **** glass is dirty. that is the glass that is only about an inch wide. be carefull of the two pieces of tape that are on both the front and back of that glass they fall off easly.

the scanner glass which reads the page is dusty.or any hair like material is stuck on that.just open the scanner and clean the glass.
