Two blinks indicates 'Over voltage protection'. Check its main power regulator board. In most cases, it might need replacement. To know more abut the blinking codes to Sony TVs check this link.

You would need a High Definition cable package. I for instance have Comcast cable with the premium package and High Definition cable box. Also as far as watching DVD's and getting the best picture would be an HDMI cable from player to set. Hope it helps!

I'm not familiar with the F-828 but on all the other CyberShot models which I've used this adapter on you have to enable it in the camera set-up menu before you can use it.

Some CyberShots need a firmware update before this can be done.
