I have a 1990 RCA Projector TV. Model #P46100TN. The remote stopped working to turn the tv on and off. Started using the power button until it quit working. Can you tell me where I could get a manual and parts to fix my TV? I live out in a rural area and it is not safe to transport my tv to a repair shop. Any assistance would be helpful.

Turn on the TV or device you want to use with the universal remote.
Press and release the TV button on the RCA Universal Remote. (The red light on the remote will begin to flash)
Now simultaneously press and hold the Power and TV buttons on the RCA Universal Remote. The on/off button will be illuminated and then turn off. After a moment, the button will relight, it should remain on.
Aim the RCA Universal Remote at the TV. Release both the on/off button and the TV button on the RCA Universal Remote simultaneously.
Next, press and release the Play button on the RCA remote. The TV or component should turn off after about five seconds. If there is no response, continue to press the Play button until the TV or other device you are programming turns off.
Now press the reverse button. If the TV or device does not turn back on, continue to hit the reverse button until it does.
Press the stop button once the TV has turned back on, this will save the programming settings.

rca technical support is sadly lacking... I used youtube to search for the remote model number to find a video that taught me how to search with the remote to get the proper code. ..try this, for tv hold tv button and power button on remote till power button turns red, next point remote at tv which is already on and press the play button on the remote. This causes the remote to try 10 codes. wait for the power button to quit winking at you, if the device (tv) turns off, it means that one of the 10 codes was correct. If the device stays on press play again to try the next set of 10 codes. It may take several tries. When it responds by turning off, we need to back up to the exact code by pressing the << reverse button one press at a time. When power comes on you have found the code. Now use the stop button to lock it in.:) I'll include a link to a vid. Programming an RCA Universal Remote If this helps please 'like' my answer.:P Mikee
hold the tv button down and keep it down and then press and hold the power button down and hold them both until the power button stays red then let go of both buttons then keep pressing the power button until the tv turns off and as soon as it turns off press the stop button and it should work.
hold power and tv button same time
until power buttton stays on then
slowly hit power button until tv turns off then hit stop button and tv will work with remote
this is the same type of problem happening with other rca models and I know it is the EPROM CHIP but why this is failing is either because of design flaw , dirty enviroment that they were made in , to much voltage or current to the chip or too much of a draw from the chip causing it to fail . Or even a random frequency from the IR sensor or its circut I'm still investigating and testing.
leave the tv unplugged for at least 3 weeks durring this time resolder any solder that don't look good , I did this and it lasted for about 6 months(always plugged in to the wall) before it started doing it again. model # 27v412t
Try it without a code. Turn your tv off. Press tv then press the on.off button and tv button at the same time. When it lights up, press play every five seconds until the tv powers off. Next press the reverse button every few seconds (sometimes takes a while), until it powers back on. When it powers back on hit the stop button to save the code.
Answer for how to program the RCA RCR3273 3-DEVICE SNOWBOARD UNIVERSAL REMOTE: Make sure the device is on. Hold down the tv (or whichever device you're trying to program) button and the power button simultaneously until the red light stays on solid. Then press the power button, it will flash one time, and keep pressing slowly, letting it flash until the device turns off. Then press the stop button...and it is programmed.
