Astra Umax 4000U Scanner driver

I have a windows XP professional 64 bit with service pack 2C operating system. I'm looking for a driver for Umax Astoria 4000u scanner and a LS 120 hi capacity floppy drive. I'm also looking for pocket writer a program for the same operating system. Do you have a pocket witting program that will work for the same operating system? If not know where I can get a pocket witting program and driver for my astra scanner that will work for my xp profession 64 bit operating system?

How can i get Umax Astra 4100 scanner driver for XP 64-bit
I'm afraid there are no drivers running under Windows Seven for this unit.
If you have the W XP install disc , you could install a virtual version of W XP on your HDD ( http://downloads.vmware.com/d/info/desktop_downloads/vmware_player/3_0 )
You could also partition your HDD ( http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html ) and install W XP on the new one .
Otherwise , you will have to buy a new scanner .

My UMAX Astra 1200s worked fine with Windows XP Since a week ago I purchased Windows 7 my scanner doesn't I need help to get it working with Windows 7. Pascualita Gonzalez 916-422-4694
Most of the time Windows drivers are backwards compatible. (one exception, is the 64 bit OS)
Try this site for fresh drivers, come back if this does not lead to a fix.
