SOURCE: Asko Dishwasher F2 Error Flashing

This was very helpful! Only 2 weeks ago I replace the circulation pump on my Asko 1855. Today, when I turned the power on, the F2 error message appeared. I removed the face plates and discovered there was a lot of water in the drip pan. I found the cause to be a small leakage on one of the hose connections. After removing all the water, the water level switch worked properly.

SOURCE: Asko Dishwasher Model D1716B Does not fill

Have an Asko 1325 that experienced similar scenario. Removed the unit from the kitchen to the outside to do a thorough exploration. After all a dead machine is a good one to learn on. With the unit electrically disconnected, I explored within the lower guts of the machine. Found some foreign plastic debris within the turbine. Then wigled and removed each electrical connector and reconnected back. There may be corrosion within the contacts. After this procedure I test ran the machine on the outside and it worked.

BTW a common defect with the Asko is the electrical wiring leading up the main door panel, from below the machine. The wires are typically too short and the metal edges of the unit are razor sharp. You guessed it, wires become cut and cause an electrical short at best, or a fire at worst. See the photo for proof by practice. This is why an Asko can be a fiasco. b84ee89.jpg8bbfcfc.jpg

First of all, don't pre-rinse the dishes. Check the water temperature, it should be between 120 and 140 degrees. Be sure you are not partially blocking the dispenser door so that it isn't opening.

Hi I had f2 flash up on the control panel so we drained it and turned it back on it now shows 5 on the control panel and wont do anything else it is a ASKO D1976

Hi

Error F2 in asko dishwashers indicate high water level. This may happen due to plugged drain pump or due to faulty water inlet valve. To resolve the issue remove the back plate and check the drain pump. Disconnect the hoses from the drain pump and clear the lint from the hose and the pump area. Lot of water would be there when you'll remove the hose from the pump, be ready to collect it. Let it dry and now the dishwasher will work perfectly now. Hope it helps...

1. Unplug washer or disconnect power for one minute.
2. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.

NOTE: If the error remains on the display, call for service.

F2 error message flashes, cannot reset.

Try to find out from where water leaking from (pump or inlet valve). The leaking one, should be replaced. Good luck !
