You will probably need to call Olympus Customer Service to discuss their repair policies and procedures. They will also be able to tell you the cost of the repair. Their telephone number is 800-622-6372 option 2 and then option 3

There is no repair on this camera that you can do, you have 2 choices, send it back to Olympus for exchange unit (very costly) or just replace it.

Lcd broken where can i replace and wha tis the
get a new camera sorry it is a specalty wiring very expensive assembly machine
if it is truly broken. just get a new one
cost of repair is at least 1/2 of new camera
there is no repair of the lcd

LCD screen on back of camers isn' working - not image at all - nothing displayed - completly black How do I fix?
is there anything that indicates that its turned on? what you can do for a defective lcd is have it checked in a service center and probably ask if it needs replacement.

C-770 lens
If you are talking about converter lenses (telephoto and wide angle), there are a few that will fit the Olympus C-770. You will have to use the Raynox adapter tube instead of the Olympus CLA-4 tube. There are probable others, but I could not find them. Interestingly, the Olympus TCON-17 and WCON-07 lenses are very popular and adapted to other brand of cameras.

My Olympus C770 now defaults to no sound when taking a movie (this never used to happen) When I go in & turn on mike, sound quality very bad. The thing I am trying to record is in background under hi The camera used to automatically record good quality sound. Now it doesn't record any sound unless I go in manually and turn on the mike. If the camera is switched off, the mike goes off again. Plus I am not sure if this is the correct mike, as mainly get hiss (as tho wind noise) and very little sound of what you're recording. The setting on the camera is AUTO, which is what I think I always had it switched to for movies.
