How to Change battery Diesel DZ7040

My battery died too in the dz7079 watch. I returned it to Diesel for battery replacement, and they said it was not possible. They gave me a $400 credit to buy a new watch of my choice from their collection

Either bad battery or wrong battery.

I have the same issue, by pressing the bottom right button I get the numbers to blink but I can not change them. Someoen please help!

I'd advice to go to that Fossil outlet and ask for the promissed links or money back.
If this is not a solution, go to the nearest watchmakers shop and ask for help.
Another way is to check on ebay.

Send it in for an AUTHORIZED repair...

Being in the USA .... (see below... (call them ... regardless).

I'm going to assume you are not in Switzerland...

Look for "AUTHORIZED" repair on the internet.

The PLACE I found appears to be having license issues w/DIESEL... with some encouragement I'm sure
you can convince them to "HANDLE" your situation.

take it to a jewlrey store, like sergios. They know how to fix all watches. I took my fossil blue to 4 watch stores including the fossil store in the mall and none of the stores could fix it. I took it to sergios they changed 2 batterys in like 5 minutes with no charge.

I was given two different Diesel instruction books with my dz-7069 and neither covers the watch in question. If anyone can tell me how to set the time on it I'd be most grateful.
