Hi Garry,

Try uninstalling the Printer driver and reinstall it again, then try printing to see if it will still do the same thing with the print head checking.

have a great day,

How can I fix clogged heads on HP DesignJet 3500CP Large-Format Inkjet Printer

It's time to replace the print heads. You might try cleaning them with plain water

Hard starting but after started runs fine sometimes hesitation in the throttle but just replaced fuel pump assembly 6 mo. ago. Any ideas?

maybe a complete tune up will do the trick especially if you havent had one in a while. if your tuneup is ok check for vacuum leaks or air blockages like in the air filter these would give you symtoms like what youre having.

I left the ink in the printer, unused for over 6 mo. Replaced the ink when I returned and still will not print Kodak 5100

The print head has become clogged with dried ink. If your software can with a feature to clean the print heads try that if not contact kodak for instructions on cleaning or repair

Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/sean_54c3a3dc48a7773c

NOTHING prints on the page. It sounds like it's

Sounds as simple as either one of three things:

The ink has ran out and needs to be replaced

The ink has dried up and needs to be replaced

Somehow the ink cartridge is not fully seated, take the ink cartridge out, then replug it back in.

The only other thing I could think of would be that the print heads have been clogged up somehow, or the actual printer head device has died but that is very very unlikely.

My printer again skips lines when I print. Also there is no red even after changing cartriges. It will print without skipping in the highest quality mode, but still no red. Several months ago you sent me a...

try replacing the other cartridges, I had the same problem except the printer auto printed red, the problem was that it only allowed me to print some colors because the other ones were empty.

Backlit print problem on Mimaki JV33

Hello Mimaki Backlit person,
I had a similar problem with an HP flatbed printer on backlit material. I corrected it (mostly) by lowering the print head to the sheet. Yeah, sounds crazy, and you might have to use a profile which uses less ink, but not only did it clean up the white areas, it sharpened the color edges. Even more important to have clean material and machinery, of course.
I would think that lowering the head would cause blurring and smears, but no. Also, the material I was using had been changed by our supplier, which explained why it worked great before and not now. Suppliers frequently swap items for cheaper material, even replacing one option with their cheaper choice, telling me "OH, it's the same thing."
Yeah, right. Good Luck!

I have a Canon Pixma IP 5000 inkjet printer and am using Mac OS 10.3.9. It has 5 ink cartridges: 2 black (3e and 6) and one each yellow, magenta and cyan. I use it all day every day. After printing...

Thanks for getting back to me.
Sorry this ain't a solution but it seems to be the only cash-free way to contact you. No problem not solved - though I have tried everything. Dismantled the printer; washed, dried and replaced the waste ink pads; washed the print head; blew compressed air through the print-head sponge; replaced the cartridge 3 times; printed hundreds of test prints. I can't think of anything else to do and so I think the only solution is to replace the printhead (probably not even available) or replace the printer. The latter is looking most likely.

Canon MultiPASS MP700

I had the same problem. My 4 year old MultiPASS MP700 started banding magenta stripes across everything I printed.
I suspected the cyan printhead was clogged because the printhead tests showed two of the cyan columns as half missing.
Canon was less than helpful. I went off of my suspicion that I needed a new printhead. I found one from an online supplier for 50 bucks...better price than a new printer! I put the new print head in and it works like new.
