Probably the heater element. You need to pull the back of teh machine off and check the heating element for continuity. If its open then its shot.
These are parts that normally go bad.
Check on ebay these can be had for less than 50.00

Amana Dryer model PDLE330RAW parts manual and service manual. I need these to fix my Amana dryer that I purchased in December of 2001. Where can I find one ?

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Amana-Parts/Dryer-Parts/Model-DLE330RAWPDLE330RAW/1268/0151200?pathTaken=&prst=0&shdMod=DLE330RAW-PDLE330RAW

Remember, on all older Amana (and some of the new stuff as well) you will need the BOM number, which on yours will be DLE330RAW-PDLE330RAW. The link above is to Sears, because they seem to have the easiest pages to use as far as breakdowns. Would look into other places with the part numbers for better pricing. No service manual that I can find on the unit anymore, and can't find a tech sheet for it either. Parts list doesn't even show one, but you might have one under the console that was put there during manufacturing.

Amana Dryer NDG5805AW heats for a couple seconds after starting then no heat HELP

Hi,

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

Accessing the heating element

I have a ALE643RB Amana dryer and believe the heating element has went out because the dryer will not heat anymore. I have taken the control panel off the top and all the screws out on the back and the bottom edge, but am still not able to get the shell off the dryer. How do you get to the heating element?
