I have a Panasonic PT-47WX42 .. porew light flashes 3 times the stops,, then repeats..if I unplug the power cord then turn on the tv. it warmsup the picture comes on for maybe 3 sec then hear a click just...

The 3 blinks is indicating the set has shut down due to the convergence circuits. You can get the convergence repair kit for your model from www.tvrepairworld.com the kit contains the parts and the CD with repair instructions.

The tv is only 4 years old and just stopped working while we were watching it. it is a "52 model number pt-52lcx65-ka.

Hi,
If lamp in tv has not been replaced in last 3-4 years then check lamp and replace it.
Did tv showed lamp replacement requires warning/ message on screen before going to shut down?
Did you hear any pop sound inside tv when it get shut down? that pop sound could be lamp that got broken.

My tv powers on and then shuts off in a few minutes. I love this tv and the picture looks great, i think its a fan problem. But not sure.

Do you see any light lit solid/ blink when tv shuts down?
Let me know is it Panasonic PT-50LCX63 or any other model?
Above info will help me to diagnose problem and to suggest a solution.

Pt47wx49 panasonic rear projection tv has very dark tv scenes

Has this problem been getting progressively worse? I would suggest cleaning the CRT's inside the tv with lcd screen cleaner or something similar. Make sure the tv is unplugged, all you have to do is undo some screws on the back to gain access to the inside of the cabinet. Hopefully that's all it is. Your set has no lamp if it is a Panasonic Pt47wx49.

Panasonic projection tv 53 inch shut down and power lite blinked 3 times. I changed both ic's and one resistor and tv come on for about 5 minutes and picture started bouncing and tv shut down and again...

Thats the 140 v error. Check the HV wire ( large Red Wire) The coinnection can cause that issue.

Toshiba shuts dowm

pls .check your tv power cabel pin and plugg bitwin sparked or luss canaction [pls unplugged cabel pin and see tv. power cabel pin on top side black spot.]
pls try power cabel properly canact if loose replace with new.
NOTE:most of tv poblum is making power cabel loose. so canacting tv power cabel or power bord check with electrician

When turned on, my Mitsubishi TV shuts off after a few seconds.

the lamp is simple; yet you can run into problems with this tv. be very careful replacing lamp. the plug in the tv can be damaged. (due to the design)

TV powers up for literally a second then shuts down (PT-47WX49)

check R517 on the power supply board if burnt replace with 5% 1/4 watt 10K carbon resistor.
