Hi, Replace the battery it is faulty. After many charges the battery will not charge any more its called internal discharge Repace it and you are good to go.

I have a Braun 7 series that I use occasionally. The last time I tried to charge was unsuccessful. After several days on the charger still would not charge, I discovered the RESET button right under the Braun name. The charger cable has to be unplugged, then press reset with a paper clip and now works like a charm. Note: reset will not work if charger cable is plugged in.
You state that is works here so other than the charging not showing I don't see a real problem here. If it drains totally and then does not recharge it is one of two things. Bad battery or bad charger. Replace the charging station first.
If the arm on the charging stand no longer locks down into place to charge the shaver, you will need to replace the arm or you can replace the entire charging unit. You will find both items at shaveroutlet.com. See links below<br />
