Intake drain light on - Miele 24 in. Novotronic G851SC Plus Built-In Dishwasher

The intake dram light is like a check engine light on a car. Multiple things can cause it. Call Miele technical support at (800)999-1360 M- F 8 am to 8 pm eastern. They can walk you through some troubleshooting and set up service if needed.

I had a flashing red Intake/Drain light. After calling Miele tech support, he confirmed that the drain was plugged so I took all drain hoses apart and finally discovered that the problem was a plugged air gap. I replaced it and the problem was solved.

wash dishes by hand and use dishwasher for storage. lol

I decided I'd wait for the repairman; I don't want to have to pay additional money.

check and see if the disposer drain port plug was removed. intake/drain light means slow drain or no drain

The intake/drain light blinks. How do I fix this problem?

My Miele Incognito dishwasher kept getting an error with intake/drain light. The light flashed 5 times. Phoned Miele Technical Support to investigate the problem. The problem is that a seal in the bottom of the dishwasher has failed and there was water in the motor pan. Currently, $175 service charge for the technician to come look at it.

I don't want to spend $175+ to have them replace a 75 cent rubber gasket that I could replace on my own.
