Hi Mizanur,

First of all, thank you for posting your question here at Fixya.

Your TV has a built in self diagnostic software that can help us diagnose accurately where the fault came from once the unit gone to malfunction. To activate it, press the following buttons on the remote control within a second on each other in standby mode( red LED is on), "Display", "5", "Volume (+)", "Power". Initial screen will be displays as follows :

my tv model is sony KDL-52VL150 . problem is - 12_14_2011_11_31_03_pm.jpg

To display the self diagnostic list, press12_14_2011_11_34_30_pm.jpg on the remote control.

The screen will display the list ofmy tv model is sony KDL-52VL150 . problem is - 12_14_2011_11_36_32_pm.jpg>

Numerical value "0" means that there's no error detected, "1" means that an error was detected.

Please let me know what error code(s) with numerical value "1" to continue our diagnosis.

    Hi Mizanur,

Sorry, I didn't noticed that you've already replied through another thread.
The self diagnostic results means that there's a problem on the T-Con board that's why it immediately turned to standby mode once the power button key was pressed.

    I've saw your board at ebay.com (http://www.ebay.com/itm/SAMSUNG-LJ94-026... ).

I have a Sony Bravia LCD tv an it won't turn on at all the standby light is not even there I've tried turning on an off and leaving unplugged for an hour still nothing.? Help,

You either have a problem with your power supply board or main board. I would start with having the power supply fuse checked as well as the power supply board!

Kdl-46s2010 Turns itself off, standby light does not flash to show fault

This might be your main board on the tv. If the tv is still under warranty I would bring it back in for repair.

Sony KDL-46z4100 standby light blinking 12 time with few seconds gap continiously

12 blinks of standby light indicates 'Scanrate error'. You must have thorough knowledge in electronics to proceed. Actually, this is not a user repairable fault. it is very skilled work.

The tv is stuck on standby. I unplugged it and left it sit for 20 minutes and replugged the power. It turns on like normal and after a few seconds it goes back to standby

The power supply board is the problems and the causes. That the board, where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

40'' Sony Bravia goes into standby with the light blinking 9 times

I finally managed to solve this problem by unplugging everything - scarts - HDD cables - power etc and left it for an hour. When I turned it back on again the problem had sorted itself out.

Sony Bravia KDL 46", no picture, standby light blinks 4 times

Since the TV is still receiving power, the problem is going to be with the TV's mainboard.  After you unplugged the TV and plugged it back in, you said the power light went out again, so I assume the standby light wasn't flashing again?  The flashing standby light is indicating an error code so my suggestion is to contact Sony for service options regardless if there is a warranty or not because service is the only solution to this situation.  Don't forget to provide them the error code or 4 flashes repeating.

Tv immediately turns off

Four flashes indicates a problem with the backlight on the TV. It can be caused by the backlight inverter board (the power supply for the backlight) or by defective backlights in the panel It is USUALLY the backlight inverter board that is bad, but I have seen both components fail at various times. This set is fairly new and should still be withing the one year warranty, so you should contact Sony at 800-222-SONY to get it repaired. Be sure to rate this solution. Thanks!
