You answered your own question really, you "replace" them. The Sharper Image online company you see today is not the same Sharper Image company that made these units. That company went into bankruptcy in 2008 and the name was bought by new investors who opened a new online store under the Sharper Image name. Unless the store you bought these from has a return policy that is still valid, you are stuck with two units that have no warranty and no service or parts support.

If you know what is wrong, you can find second-hand parts online and fix it yourself. If you do not know what is wrong, finding out by replacing parts can get expensive very quickly. In that case, I would suggest selling the unit for parts or just disposing of it alltogether. There will usually be someone like myself who is looking for parts since that is the only way to keep these running anymore. I can see what second hand parts are selling for online and it may be worth trying to sell them off. Whether any parts are actually being sold at those prices, however, is another story and you may just be wasting your time trying.

These units are manufactured by Alpine Air Products. Some years ago, they were sold through Network Marketing Reps.

You can contact Alpine Air Products directly at 888-675-2616, Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm PST).

That will be your best bet.

My xl15 runs but does not produce ozone. The little Rulien fan on the little ozone maker does not run. the regular fan works though.

You realize this is a really old machine!! The little fan is for ozone level detection, not production.
To see if the machine still will produce ozone
1) Set the switch to manual rather than auto and always run it on manual.
2) Remove the back of the machine and remove the 4" white plates. Check them for cracks, breaks in the mesh, loose mucilage, discoloration, burned spots, excessive grease or nicotine, or particulates such as dust, dog hair, or lint. Clean the plates using a solution of 1 part plain AMMONIA to 1 part warm water. Soak 5 minutes, brush with a soft brush, rinse well, and blow dry. DO NOT use any kind of cloth to dry the plate. Avoid putting fingers on the mesh.
3) If the plates are damaged in any way, call Vollara (new name for EcoQuest) and order replacements. 1-800-989-2299. Use #16618 as the dealer referral number if you are no longer in touch with the registered distributor who sold you the machine.
4) Insert the plates, making sure the metal contact fingers press on them firmly.
5) If none of the above works, most likely the power to those contact fingers is no longer strong enough to arc through the plates.
6) Call customer service, and they'll explain your options.

Will not power on

First check the little switch on the back of the machine. Make sure it is pushed so the end with the "I" is in and the "0" is out.
Make sure the cord is inserted FIRMLY and that the wall socket is live.
Make sure the back screen is depressing the safety switch (available on some models).
Try both the remote and the manual controls. Sometimes only one will work.
Check the fuse by unplugging the cord at the back of the machine, then pulling straight out on the fuse holder. Replace with one of the EXACT same size. (usually available at auto parts stores)
Make sure the plate is inserted correctly, following the top and bottom "tracks" for insertion.
If none of these troubleshooting methods helps, it is likely that the problem is in the computerized portion of the machine. Unfortunately, the new company (Vollara) is no longer manufacturing or servicing the Breeze. It can be turned in for $100 credit on an upgrade. Call Vollara at 1-800-989-2299. You can use #16618 as the dealer referral number if you are no longer in touch with the registered dealer who sold you the machine. Your other option is to try to find a dealer who still has the Breeze in stock and purchase a replacement. I hope this helped.

Won't power up.

Check all connections.
1) Make sure the plate is inserted inside correctly, into the groove top and bottom.
2) Make sure the back screen is inserted so that the safety switch is depressed.
3) Make sure the cord is inserted firmly, and that the wall outlet is live.
4) Make sure the little switch by the cord is pressed so the "I" symbol is in and "0" is out.
5) Try using the remote control. If that doesn't work, try the manual controls.
6) If nothing works, check the fuse. Replace it with one EXACTLY the same, available at an auto parts store.

If none of these suggestions help, you'll need to call Vollara (new name for EcoQuest) 800-989-2299. Use #16618 as the dealer referral if you are no longer in touch with the registered distributor who sold you the machine. Unfortunately, Vollara no longer manufactures or services this model, but it can qualify you for some great options.

I lost neutral on the electrical service and my cleaner no longer works, i changed the fuse that had blown, but when i turned the filter on it simply blew the new fuse

Blowing a new fuse would indicate that there is some component of the machine which was damaged. The fuse is a safety device which keeps electricity from flowing through defective wiring.

You can visually inspect the machine to see if there are any wires, connections, or components that appear to be damaged, burned, loose, or broken. The plates need to be perfect, without cracks, burned spots, loose mucilage, broken screens, etc. The contact fingers should be screwed firmly in place, and they should press firmly against the screen part of the plate.

If you can detect and then repair any of the above defects, and if the machine still blows the fuse, you can assume that the problem is deeper in the machine and it needs professional help! Unfortunately, Vollara (formerly EcoQuest) no longer makes or repairs the Flair. You can contact Vollara customer service 800-989-2299 to locate a dealer in your area; they may have another machine or know where you could get one. They may also know of someone who could repair it for you.

I no longer smell the ozone smell that i used too.

You probably have a burned out high voltage transformer. That's what produces the ozone. Helpful hint...........the high voltage transformer is also the one used in bug zappers.
