Compaq ProLiant ML370 G4 (374490421) Server - Windows xp issues

I have Compaq ProLiant ML370, currently it has windows 2003server i want to install windoe XP profession it give an error Hard Disc Drive not found. please assist

Servers need the Drivers for the Drive array card.
The server should have come with a smartStart CD that has the drivers for it.
You are NOT going to get another OS on this machine unless you load the drivers for the adapter.
... and why put XP on a Server? that's not the optimal OS for the hardware.

To be honest, don't see 64 Bit support so it may not make a difference, because of 32 Bit OS limitations.

You may need to reapply thermal grease to the cpu/heatsink combo. Over time, the grease will disapate and needs to be reapplied. Also, if your memory cards are very hot, you can add heatsinks to those to assist with cooling. And lastly, you may check to make sure that your power supply is the correct wattage for your system. A low 350W power supply trying to push a 780W system will create a strain on all component parts.

Can the HP ML370 G3 be upgraded to windows server 2008

Unfortunately hp does not have drivers for ML370 G3 on windows 2008 this OS cannot be installed in this server, i attached the os matrix so that you can confirm.

Hi guies the windows srever 2003 files in my hp ml370 is corrupt and i tried to fix the prblem by format one hard disk partition in my scasi disks array and installing win srv 2003 on it but whe i log on...

The utility to use to set up the ML370 g3 server is the SSCD (smart start cd) this is a guided installation cd that will help you set up the array, install drivers and diagnostic utilities and after that
will request the windows cd so that you can finish the installation.
instructions:
1. download SSCD from here
2. extract the zip file
3. burn the ISO image to a cd
4. boot the server to the cd
5. choose from the main menu the option "Deploy server"
6. follow the wizard

I have a HP Proliant ML370 G3 server which was replaced can it be rebuilt for 64Bit Windows 2008 operation?

generation 3 servers do not support windows server 2008 there are no drivers for this OS

Failing to install windows 2003 server on compaq ml 370

To install windows server 2003 on HP servers you need Smartstart CD, you can download that cd from hp site:
