My Dewalt DC925 works well but the torque settings don't seem to be working.when i am drilling screws the drill will just drill until i release the trigger.is this a clutch problem?. Many thanks.

Try to put it on the lowest torque and if it slips when wanted, then add a little more torque and check to make sure it slips. Continue at each torque setting and usually works again at full torque. Usually happens when left on the same torque all the time. This kind of resets it.

Push button 4x4 not disengaging

If you have been driving in 4WD on hard surface then there will be torque wind up that has put pressure on the selector and gears and it will not slip out until the torque is released . Try driving with a set of tyres on a surface that allows the tyres to slip or jack up a wheel to allow the torque to go.

Gears slipping

Many of these have a torque clutch that is used in screwdriver mode that will slip when a certain torque is reached as set by the ring around the chuck area. If you want it to not slip, usually you set it on a symbol that looks like a twist drill.

I purchesed a BS18G Cordless Drill. How & when can I use the indication dial from 1 to 24 thank you

This dial is a torque setting. The higher the number, the higher the torque. Torque is a measure of how hard something is turned. For example, suppose you were using a regular screwdriver to tighten a screw. If you were to hold the screw driver loosely in your hand, your hand would slip before you tightened the screw very much. If you squeeze the screwdriver handle tightly, you could tighten the screw a lot more. The low numbers are like holding a screw driver loosely. The mechanism will slip before it tightens very much. This is only useful when you are trying not to overtighten small screws. When you are using it to drilll holes, you will want to set it at the maximum. Good luck, Al K

CODE P0741

P0741 "Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid stuck off"
If the PCM detects high torque converter slip when the TCC is commanded ON, then DTC P0741 sets. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Valve (TCC Sol. Valve) Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). The solenoid controls the hydraulic fluid for TCC apply and release. When the TCC is applied, the engine is coupled directly to the transmission through the TCC. The TCC slip speed should be near 0.

Vehicle will not shift into overdrive after it gets hot it finally set code 741 tcc code whats that mean

"The PCM controls the torque converter clutch (TCC) solenoid valve pulse width modulation (PWM). The solenoid controls the hydraulic fluid for TCC apply and release. When the TCC is applied, the engine is coupled directly to the transmission through the TCC. The TCC slip speed should be near 0.

If the PCM detects high torque converter slip when the TCC is commanded ON, then DTC P0741 sets. DTC P0741 is a type B DTC.

Conditions for Running the DTC
• No TP DTCs P0121, P0122 or P0123.

• No VSS DTCs P0502 or P0503.

• No AT ISS DTCs P0716 or P0717.

• No TCC stuck ON DTC P0742.

• No IMS DTCs P1820, P1822, P1823 or P1825.

No TCC PWM solenoid valve DTC P1860.

• The engine run time is greater than 5 seconds.

• The time since the gear select lever change is greater than 6 seconds.

• The IMS indicates D2, D3 or D4.

• The transmission gear ratio indicates 2nd, 3rd or 4th gear.

• The transmission fluid temperature is 20-133°C (68-271°F).

• The TP angle is 10-50 percent.

• The engine torque is 43-215 N·m (32-159 lb ft).

• The TCC solenoid valve is commanded ON.

Conditions for Setting the DTC
TCC slip speed exceeds its limit for a given torque for 5 seconds.

Refer to Torque Converter Clutch Slip Speed .

Action Taken When the DTC Sets
• The PCM illuminates the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) during the second consecutive trip in which the Conditions for Setting the DTC are met.

• The PCM inhibits 4th gear if the transmission is in hot mode.

• The PCM records the operating conditions when the Conditions for Setting the DTC are met. The PCM stores this information as Freeze Frame and Failure Records.

• The PCM stores DTC P0741 in PCM history during the second consecutive trip in which the Conditions for Setting the DTC are met.

Conditions for Clearing the MIL/DTC
• The PCM turns OFF the MIL during the third consecutive trip in which the diagnostic test runs and passes.

• A scan tool can clear the MIL/DTC.

• The PCM clears the DTC from PCM history if the vehicle completes 40 warm-up cycles without an emission-related diagnostic fault occurring.

• The PCM cancels the DTC default actions when the ignition switch is OFF long enough in order to power down the PCM.

Amount of torque per setting in dewalt dc925 xrp

The torque settings are not tightly controlled so they are not all that repeatable from drill to drill. They also vary somewhat with the speed of the drill and the condition of the battery. And they aren't linear (a setting of 10 is not twice the 5 setting) Simplest thing to do for a rough idea is to use your hand to hold the chuck still to feel how much torque you have at each setting. (start low and grip it tight!) If you want a specific torque setting, say 10 ft-lbs, then put a stout screw in a scrap of wood, hang a 10 lb weight on it 12 inches from the screw and adjust until it just starts to slip.

You can use the built-in application or embed it in your own code.
Of course it implements several naive bayes algorithms
