The refresh rate for your monitor could be incorrectly set. You might check that.

    Hi Art

Never seen that myself except on very very very old CRT monitors.
Think it tends to be a bad driver, bad connection to the card, or dying card most of the time

Nvidia cards are notorious for going bad due to overheating
You neglected to mention which card you have

Also DO NOT ever post your phone number online unless you have a very good reason to do so.

Well it can be some factors. But i need more info. of your system.
1-OS
2-Bit (64 or 32)
Also if your new Win7 is 64bit and your previous OS was 32 then you need a 64 bit driver version and so on.

ASUS M2N68-AM SE2 Motherboard screen flickering

Hello the homepage is here:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM2Plus/M2N68AM/#download

Please select your windows system 32 or 64 bit.
Any file can be downloaded by open the driver folder, and click on global for download.
The file needs to be unziped before you install.

I think you have to upgrade the chipset driver.

You maybe need to uninstall the old driver before you install the new.

Check also the screen cable for proper connection.
Try to connect the screen to another pc to check if it is the screen that`s the problem.

You can also buy a graphic card to add on the mainboard for better performance.

Good luck

ASUS M2N68-AM SE2 Motherboard Video Cards

This motherboard has PCI expansion slot then any PCI video card will work with this motherboard. If it had an AGP expansion slot then you may be able to install a better video card.
This motherboard has a built-in Nvidia GeForce video card which most likely out performs any PCI video card.

Motherboard problem

I would suggest buying a cheap Graphics Card, You will have more control over the graphics output and the system memory will increase. By using the onboard graphics you are eating into the System RAM and if you have only the minimum system Ram then your system will be slow.

I use an AMD M2N68 SE2 motherboard.I bough an NVIDIA 9500GT graphics card lately. Now my display will go out after a few minutes..

Hi. This is usually an indication of overheating. Make sure the fan on the graphics card is not blocked. Clean out any dust in your system and ensure adequate air flow across the CPU and the graphics card.

If you use the integrated VGA try to update drivers from here
if this doesn't solve you're problem get a new VGA card for PCI Express,
and since the motherboard has an nvidia chipset you should get an nvidia grafic card.

I would first check BIOS and disable Onboard video (if applicable) and then make sure that graphics port is set for PCI-e and not PCI or pci-e 1x or something.

Check that first. And make sure that card is all the way plugged in. You won't believe how many people don't plug it in all the way.
